A yoga class designed for Littles is very different from an adult class.
This class is filled with engaging games, stories + activities that incorporate traditional yoga poses, breathing and mindfulness techniques to restore, nurture, and grow.
Littles will learn fun ways to strengthen their body + improve balance using basic and challenging yoga poses, partner and group poses and imaginative games.
Through mindfulness activities, simple breathing exercises and relaxation/visualization techniques, they will learn creative ways to cope with stress + anxiety.
These classes will help to build self-esteem, nurture self-love and teach the importance of cooperation + showing kindness to others.
Ages 6-12

Please dress your child comfortably and have them bring a bottle of water. Mats and all other props will be supplied. If you are sending your child in socks, please ensure that they are non-slip as the studio floor can be very slippery.
Understanding that life happens, if you are going to be late please send a text to 289-208-8886 as soon as you can. Unfortunately, I am unable to allow students into class that are more than 15 minutes late.
If your child is ill or is unable to attend class, please notify me no less than 4 hours in advance so that I can fill the spot.
As the studio space is small, parents will not be permitted to stay during class. I recommend grabbing a coffee, taking a walk in the park across the street, running some errands or just having some quiet time in your car!
There are washroom facilities on site, however they are not readily accessible (the washroom is located in my home). If your child has specific toileting needs I should be aware of, please inform me prior to booking so that we can all be comfortable.
If you have any questions at all, please reach out by email to jodi@studiodragonfly.ca prior to registering.
